What the Girls Say

  • Amy

I love GCSE Art because it is challenging, yet rewarding. It is unique and allows me to express myself in a creative and enjoyable way.

  • Harriet

In Geography the teachers are very supportive and make sure you understand and enjoy the lessons. Studying Geography has enabled me to experience many exciting new places such as the Lake District and Mount Vesuvius in Italy. Geography at Greenbank has encouraged me to study the subject at a higher level.

  • Kemi

"PE is one of my favourite subjects! We can go to loads of after-school and lunch time clubs and it has helped me make friends outside of my classes too. I especially love the netball and athletics clubs."

  • Chloe

"In DT we get to experience lots of different subjects in one, like cooking and woodwork. My favourite is textiles, as it allows me to be creative, think of my own ideas and the teacher is very supportive. It's so much fun!"

  • Sophie

"I love music because it lets me express myself creatively and gives me the opportunity to go to clubs where I can make new friends, be inspired and develop my music skills even more."

  • Hannah

"I love English and reading as it allows me to express my imagination and enjoy my alone time. Not only does it do that, but it also lets me travel into a book and feel part of the story."

  • Jess

"Science is never boring! We do lots of practical work and experiments - I especially enjoyed the topic on reactions. I know that Science will teach me important life skills and I have been able to apply my knowledge to other subjects too."

  • Sarah

I joined Greenbank in Year 9 and I was given such a warm welcome and I felt right at home. Since then (2 years ago) I have settled into Greenbank very well and I am extremely happy here and I have so many friends. I have found a love for French and Biology as the teachers are very inspiring and hope to continue them for A level.
