"Greenbank High School provides its students with an outstanding education and very high quality care, guidance and support. Their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is a substantial strength of the school. As a result, students become mature, self-confident individuals with high aspirations. They are extremely well prepared for life beyond school. Their attendance, behaviour and attitudes to learning are excellent."

Year 10 Merseyside Netball Championship - Runner up
The Year 10 team were runners up on 8th March 2014 in the county netball tournament. They won 4 games in a round robin tournament. In the final match against Wirral Girls Grammar School after going 2-5 behind they pulled it back to 5-5 but eventually lost a tough game 5-7. The girls should all be very proud of what they achieved.

Year 10 Rugby Team
Well done to the girls who competed in the girls rugby tournament on 6th March. Led by our North of England squad member, Hannah Walton, the team were runners up which was an outstanding performance. They displayed a superb team spirit!

Rotary Technology Tournament winners

On the 7th March Greenbank's Year 9 team won their section of the annual Rotary Technology Tournament which is a national competition. The pupils had to design and build a device to grab a ball in a transparent box with a small opening and drop it in a target zone.   Are these the engineers of the future!
