Congratulations to Mrs Blyth and her team for reaching it to the Coca Cola Rehinal Finals.
A team of Greenbank girls made it through the regional final of the Coca Cola Real Business Challenge held at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. Zaeema Ahmed, Abby Bigley, Chloe, Bailey, Alex , and Sophie Wright were competing against 9 other schools from the region. The teams had beaten off competition from 8,000 pupils to attend the day.
Coca Cola mentors provided some guidance while the teams worked on a new challenge set that day. They had to design a bus stop poster, a mobile app, a social media campaign and fundraising event to support the Great Britain team attending the Special Olympics in Los Angeles. The girls showed great imagination and team work while completing the tasks set. They also had the task of being the first team to present their campaign to the panel of judges, comprising of businessmen and women from the region.
Whilst the Greenbank team was unlucky not to win this heat, all of the girls had a wonderful day and enjoyed working with Coca Cola.
