On Friday 9th July, 40 Key Stage 3 students and 5 staff set off for a 6 day twin city break to Paris and Barcelona. It was a very, very long coach journey but worth every second as we enjoyed the sights in France's capital city such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre museum and a trip on a bateau mouche along the river Seine in fabulous sunshine. In Spain, we stayed in Calafell where our hotel had a beautiful pool and was only a stone's throw away from the beach, allowing us to cool off after a busy schedule sight-seeing in Barcelona, just an hour's drive away. Here, we visited the Sagrada Familia and the Aquarium whilst experiencing a traditional Spanish dinner of tapas on our last night. A great time was had by all and the girls were, as always, a credit to themselves and to Greenbank High School.
