GCSE Awards Evening

Greenbank High School held their annual GCSE Awards Evening.

Headteacher, Mr Raikes said ‘We were delighted to welcome back so many of last year’s Year 11 pupils.  They achieved so highly, got fully involved in all the opportunities Greenbank has to offer and have matured into exemplary young ladies. We were delighted to have as our guest speaker, Jane Kennedy, the first Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioner.  Jane spoke about her interesting career and people who had inspired her throughout her life’.

As well as GCSE certificates being awarded, awards were given for the highest achievers, pupils who made special progress, and those who made special contributions to school life, including cheerfulness.  There was an incredible 28 pupils who achieved 100% attendance awards.
