Talent Scouts from the National Youth Film Academy will be in Manchester and Liverpool interviewing for our 2019 courses in June.

We will be in Liverpool on Saturday 16 June 2018 looking for talented actors and filmmakers to take part in one of our courses next year. 

We will be in Manchester on Sunday 17 June 2018 looking for talented actors and filmmakers to take part in one of our courses next year.

There are some Taster Days coming up at the Croxteth campus for Year 11 students interested in Horse Care (5th April), Animal Care (5th May) or Greenspace – Arboriculture and Horticulture (29th May) 10.00am -3.00pm.

Channel 4 Opportunity in Liverpool over Easter. Must be 16

A fantastic opportunity for students who would be interested in a career in the TV production Industry!

This is a one off event at:

The Royal Liver Building, Liverpool - 5th April 2018

Channel 4’s “C4PopUp” will be heading to Liverpool to talk careers in the TV production industry for those who are 16 or over. Want to know more about the various roles needed to create great TV? Interested in producing, directing, editing and production management? But not sure how to get your foot in the door? This day will involve a TV production workshop where you work in a team and produce your own short film.

You’ll learn the basics of filming, producing, editing and presenting. Get insights from industry professionals, and the chance to hear more about Channel 4’s Production Training Scheme and Runner Apprenticeship Scheme and speak to past trainees about their experiences.

What Career Live and What University Live is a free and essential event for 15-19 year olds - at the ACC Liverpool on March 23 and 24th.  After highly successful shows in London and Birmingham they are really excited to launch in Liverpool in 2018.

Students can meet with 100+ exhibitors from leading universities and top companies looking to recruit school leavers, listen to 60+ seminars and experience special features such as mock assessment centre, CV writing clinic, STEM challenge and much more.  You can find out more on the website.  Confirmed exhibitors for 2018 include Universities of Nottingham, Southhampton, Loughborough, Birmingham, Bristol and Roehampton, and companies including J.P. Work Experience placement for Year 11. July 2018

Please see attachment below relating to a Work Experience placement at Arcadis in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain an insight into the work of a civil engineer.

This does not fall within our normal work experience week but Year 11 pupils can apply.
