An inspirational trip to Cambridge.
30 Year 9 and 10 pupils took part in a trip to Cambridge University. The first day pupils were able to get a feel of the city by enjoying their first experience of punting up and down the River Cam, site seeing and shopping. This was followed by an evening meal and bowling.
The second day was based at Cambridge University's Magdalene College. Pupils learnt about various courses on offer at Cambridge, the College System, met current students and had a tour of three Colleges, Magdalene, St Trinity's and St Johns. They also visited Kings College Chapel. The day ended with a treasure hunt around the city finding out more interesting facts about Cambridge University.
As always the pupils were fantastic and extremely mature. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the trip with a number of them now seriously considering applying to one of the Oxbridge University's in the next few years.
