GCSE Results - 74%

Students at Greenbank High School have once again celebrated their GCSE results.

Ian Raikes, Headteacher commented “We are delighted with our best ever results which reflect the commitment of the girls who have worked so hard with their teachers to achieve excellent outcomes.  We are proud of our Year 11 students who as well as their academic achievements made such an important contribution to our school in so many ways through for example leadership, sport, performing arts and ambassadorial duties. They are excellent role models who we look forward to seeing thrive in their chosen post 16 destination. ”  74% of students achieved 5A*-Cs including English and Mathematics, an increase of 7% from 2014, while 55% achieved the English Baccalaureate suite of GCSEs which is an impressive further increase of 4% from last year which placed Greenbank in the top 100 non-selective state schools in the country in this performance measure.
