Progress Leaders

Meet our Progress Leaders.

Year 7 - Mrs N Robinson

I am a Progress Leader for Lower School. Within this role I work with pupils in Year 7 and 8 helping guide them through the transition from Primary to Secondary school and helping them settle quickly into life in High School. I teach Art, Design Technology and PSHE throughout the school and as an experienced staff member of many years feel privileged to be one of the longest serving staff at the school.

Year 8 - Miss Sweeney

I began working at Greenbank in 2011 as a teacher of Science. Since joining Greenbank I have taken on responsibilities such as organising trips to Paris and London, coordinating links with Primary schools and acted as a Curriculum Mentor to trainee teachers. As well as having a love of teaching and Science, I have always had a keen interest in nurturing pupils enthusiasm and motivation for school life, both in and out of the classroom, and I am excited to become part of the fantastic pastoral team at Greenbank in September as Head of Year 8. I look forward to helping guide our year 8 pupils towards achieving their full potential, especially as they make their choices for GCSE in year 9.

Year 9 - Mr Sinclair

During my teaching career I have been a successful pastoral leader and teacher of science, experiencing a variety of roles and opportunities at both whole school and departmental level within differing school environments and locations in England. Since arriving at Greenbank in2007, I became a Progress Leader in 2010 for KS4.  My aim is to ensure that educational outcomes are the best they can possibly be for all pupils in my care and equip students for future success in whatever their path maybe in the future.

Year 10 - Miss Hardiman

My love of sport was embedded from a very early age and it was this that led me to university to complete a degree in PE, Sport and Dance with QTS.  I joined Greenbank in 2006, having taken a year to travel and work in America and Australia.  Since arriving I have worked as a PE teacher and been very proud to contribute to the running of our very successful extra-curricular programme.  In 2008 I was appointed as Progress Leader for Year 11 and have since worked in Year 9-11.  In my current role I work with my team of personal tutors to provide support for the pupils to grow and adapt to situations, by providing them with the tools and confidence to be the best they can, in Greenbank and beyond.

Year 11 - Mrs Caunce

I teach Catering and Design Technology and have been working at Greenbank for a very long time. I have been a Progress Leader for pupils at KS4 for many years, and have had a lot of experience in helping pupils overcome the barriers to learning they may come across. I am also one of the designated teachers for safeguarding.
