Article of the month: Article 19 (protection from violence, abuse and neglect).  Governments must do all they can to ensure that children are protected from all forms of violence, abuse, neglect and bad treatment by their parents or anyone else who looks after them.

What is an Apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a real job with training, so you can earn will you learn and pick up recognised training as you go. They take between one and four years to complete and cover over 1,500 job roles in a wide range of industries including law, engineering, healthcare, veterinary nursing, accountancy.... Companies such as: British Aerospace, BBC, Civil Service, Jaguar Landrover, United Utilities have all recruited within our area in the last year.

You can apply for most apprenticeships at the end of Year, but some companies also offer High Level apprenticeships for students who have A levels or a BTEC Level 3 vocational qualification. These apprenticeships often offer professional qualifications and/or a funded degree.
